Jade's Journey

The sun just seemed to be getting higher and higher. How long have they been waiting? They sure as heck didn't know. But they sure wish they did. If they knew then they would be able to chew anyone who was late out. What? They deserved it completely.

Ciel was to the side of the road, performing squats. Practice always made perfect. And if he wanted to be the best, he would have to train every chance he got.

Josh stared of into space. He wasn't spaced out. He was completely aware of his surroundings and what was happening. And he was completely aware of what time it was and that everyone who was suppose to be here was late. He growled standing up. "Where is he?!" he questioned, kicking a rock away from him.

The athletic male looked at his waiting partner, never stopping his movements. "Dude...you gotta...relax a bit....He'll be here soon...." he assured, stopping in between words to pant.

The irritated male only "hmph"ed in response.

Jade waved to his mom as he left the house with a slice of toast in his mouth. After closing the door he noticed his two friends waiting towards the edge of the town and quickly ran up to them. "Ah. I didn't realize you guys were waiting on me," he said giving a slight bow in apology, " Er...Ciel, your shorts are starting to ride up..."

Said male stopped his activity and looked at the new arrival. "Oh? Dang. Sorry about that," he said, adjusted his shorts a bit. "Anyway! Are we ready to go?" His smile was big. "If so, let's go!"

Josh scoffed. "Finally. Let's get out of here already." He was ready to get going and start his journey. Waiting only delayed him. Maybe he should have traveled alone.

Jade nodded and clumsily tripped over a rock and fell forward onto his friend who hadn't got off the ground yet. "Ah! Crap Ciel, are you okay," he said concerned as he looked at the other, his eyes full of fear.

Ciel yelped out slightly in surprise and looked over at the flustered Jade. "Yeah I'm fine!" he answered with a smile. "What about you? Are you okay?"

Josh rolled his eyes at the two, contemplating of actually leaving them. "Come on you two. Let's get go already!"

It was quite heavy. Really heavy. Ria pushed and pulled with all her might, her Glaceon, Zero, helping her as much as he could. There was only so that the two of them could do. "T-this...isn't working...!" she said through gritted teeth. It seemed that even if all three of them (her cart, her pokemon, and herself) were in plain sight of anyone that came up and down the road, no one stopped to try and help her. "Someone...anyone..." she whimpered, wishing someone would come by and help her.
