| Mable Moover was Hank's childhood friend. When the boy decided it was time to leave home and venture off into the world, Moover was at his side and refused to stay at the farm. Moover gets jealous if Hank tries to make friends with anyone, often casuing Hank to become frustrated with him. Duke Hank and Moover found Duke on the Shores of Olivine City, being attacked by a Kingler he mistook for food. Not wanting to Let the poor thing be abused by the Kingler, Hank and Moover stepped in to save it. After the Krabby was KOd, Duke began to follow Hank and Moover everywhere. Upon reaching Ecrutek City, Hank decided to catch it and train it. Tork Tork used to be cared for by Hank's older brother Carter before the he left to Vermillion City. For a while the Pokemon refused to let anyoen care for him but finally gave in to Hank, probably cause their close resemblance. On his way back from Olivine City, Tork had escaped and Hank decided to help look for him. Once found, Tork tried to fight him, reluctantly, Hank fought back and had to catch the Pokemon in a ball to prevent it from doing anymore damage. Afterwards, Tork calmed down and became a very valuable team member. Cotton Hank found cotton near Violet City. It's wooly fur is where he coined the name, and the fact that is used cotton spore when frightened. Anybody that comes close to it is bound to have at least one puff of cotton on it when they leave. Dash Before he decided to return to Olivine, Hank visited New Bark town. While he was there he spotted a Ponyta drinking from the lake and knew he had to have it. Using Moover, he used Rollout until it was weakened and caught it in an Ultraball. Mounting it he was able to get from town to town much faster. When facing a Sudowoodo that blocked his path, he was able to defeat it with Dash, who evolved after the victory. | |
